USA Fencing "The United States Fencing Association (USFA) is the recognized NGB for the sport of fencing in the United States. The USFA was founded in 1891 as the Amateur Fencers League of America (AFLA) by a group of New York fencers seeking independence from the Amateur Athletic Union. The AFLA changed its name to the United States Fencing Association in 1981. "
Glossary of Fencing Terms The title says it all.
How Fencing Equipment Works From How Stuff Works. "When most people think about fencing, they are reminded of swashbuckling movies such as "The Three Musketeers," "Robin Hood," "The Mark of Zorro," "The Buccaneer" or "The Princess Bride." In these movies, the hero fights by making broad sweeping motions with his sword and running about the stage or scene, and the winner is clear when one of the fighters is wounded or dies. But modern fencing is a sport with rapid, subtle movements and fast actions. Often the action in an engagement is over within seconds."
The Right Way to Train for Boxing "Boxing is anaerobic in nature. The sport has been estimated as approximately 70-80% anaerobic and 20-30% aerobic. Anaerobic means to conduct an activity without oxygen. Anaerobic exercise, like boxing, stresses the muscles at a high intensity for short periods of time."

It does not jar your bones or damage your joints, but it is still effective. Swimming challenges your body without putting pressure on it that could worsen some conditions, such as arthritis."

The pins are also smaller, about 2/3 the size of a regular tenpin. Duckpins can be found mostly on the East Coast of the U.S., and in Argentina and the Philippines. You'll find boomerang news (competitions, records), a directory of 130 sites about boomerang, many free downloads."

What the King figured out early, was that he lost a lot of good knights to injury that way! Tournament jousting (just called "tournament" in the early days) was the result. Tournament was a way for knights to prove their combat skill and horsemanship, yet avoid unnecessary risk of injury."

The Art of Classical Riding From beginners to dressage, tips, lessons, and general information.
Classical Dressage Notebook "The education of a rider in the classical tradition has been likened to a journey through a mythical Dark Forest in search of an Enchanted Castle hidden in a clearing in the centre. There are many falsely marked paths that beckon with promises of short cuts and easy routes. Some riders are tempted to try out these detours only to find they lead nowhere and have to backtrack to the original path. The journey is not just one of learning to ride better; it is one of self-discovery. It forces the rider to take stock of who they are as a person and for some that can be the hardest part of all."
